Altamar: Investment Strategy

Altamar's objective is to achieve significant long term capital appreciation, following a relatively conservative investment strategy. Altamar invests in international Private Equity funds through efficient investment vehicules such as Funds of Funds, as well as through tailor-made structures (Managed Accounts).

By means of a rigorous selection, analysis and a due diligence process at a global level, Altamar creates diversified portfolios which participate in the best Private Equity funds.

Our investment philosophy seeks to obtain a wide diversified balance of managers, geographical areas, and investment strategies. In addition, the objective of Altamar's funds is to carry out investment commitments in the underlying funds for a period of between two and three years, thus diversifying the investment to a wider economic cycle.
