Altamar: Group Structure

Altamar Private Equity ("Altamar") was created to provide Spanish institutional investors and high net worth individuals the possibility of gaining access in an efficient and diversified manner to the best international Private Equity funds.

Within the Private Equity sector, Altamar has specialised in the segment of Private Equity LBO-Buyouts (that is to say, investment in consolidated companies which are not listed on the stock exchange ), and in that of Private Equity Real Estate (segment of Private Equity/Venture Capital which invests in companies and assets within the Real Estate sector). In this last sector Altamar promotes funds through a company called Altan Capital SGIIC, S.A.U. The said company was constituted jointly with Aguirre Newman, an independent company which is leader in Spain in real estate consultancy.
