Ancala Partners – Sale of grid operator in Sweden

UK infrastructure investor Ancala Partners has sold its recently-acquired stake in Skanska Energi at a profit after losing out in a bidding war for the Swedish regional energy grid operator.  Skanska Energi shareholder and neighbouring grid operator Kraftringen Energi now holds 63% of the shares in the company after its SEK 80-a-share offer was accepted by a majority of shareholders. The offer valued Skanska Energi at around SEK 670m (EUR 65m).
